As you may know, part of the Michigan Colleges Alliance mission is to support the state’s growing workforce needs. Our Concierge Career Connection (CCC) offers a one-stop-shop for signature Michigan corporations, businesses and non-profit organizations to efficiently recruit student interns and full-time employees from MCA’s 14 member campuses and more than 42,000 students—Michigan’s “third largest university.”
MCA colleges and universities span the state and offer programs in virtually every field of study. Collectively, our students and graduates represent a rich talent pool for Michigan employers. CCC provides partner organizations with comprehensive selection and marketing support for all their recruiting needs.
We know our corporate partners have organizational needs for which our students are well-fitted, but visiting all of our member schools can be a large undertaking. Daniel Quintanilla, Director of Talent Acquisition at Gentex Corporation says, “Our goal is to recruit top talent from as many colleges and universities as possible for full-time, co-op, and internship opportunities at Gentex. The Concierge Career Connection program has been helpful in allowing us to reach more students in Michigan faster than we could if we visited each school individually.”

Importantly, our students would not have had access to a number of these opportunities if it weren’t for this innovative program by MCA. The MCA staff do a great job with procuring a wide range of opportunities that meet the needs of a cross section of our students, both for internships and full-time options.”
