Same excellent colleges, a new collective name
Michigan Colleges Foundation has a new name – Michigan Colleges Alliance. In recognition of our expanding collective work in recent years, the MCA Board of Trustees has made a historic decision to change the name of our 64-year old organization to better reflect and communicate these efforts.
MCA as a Catalyst
In addition to raising funds from the private sector to support our institutions and students, our goal is to help improve the economic and community progress of Michigan, by recruiting, engaging and retaining the best and brightest talent in Michigan. Specifically, we:
Michigan Colleges Alliance strengthens the shared capacity of 15 leading independent colleges and universities grounded in a liberal arts tradition to recruit students, support them financially, and connect them to Michigan career opportunities.
